DEBRA LEE MUSIC STUDIO IN AMBLER
ADDS NEW TEACHERS FOR
WIND INSTRUMENTS,
GUITAR, SONGWRITING, PERFORMANCE,
AND JAZZ PIANO
AMBLER, PA – February 14,
2013 – Debra Lee Music Studio announces new teacher affiliates for
flute, clarinet, saxophone; guitar,
songwriting, singing & performance and artist development; and jazz piano for advanced
students, through her Ambler-based music lesson studio, offered in
addition to traditional piano lessons (including classical and pop
styles) and vocal lessons for children, teens, and adults.
Ms Lee opened her studio in 2001,
is a
classically trained pianist and graduate of West Chester University
where she studied Piano Pedagogy. In 2005, she received certification as a Voiceworks™
Associate to teach the Total Singer™
Method of all popular and musical theater vocal styles . She
successfully coaches students for vocal auditions, performances, and
recording projects, and works with teens and adults to find and
develop their unique singing voice. She teaches traditional piano
methods as well as a pop-style method for piano and piano-vocal
accompaniment. In addition to teaching music, Ms. Lee is a
professional singer, songwriter, and recording artist.
Ms. Lee has added three affiliate teachers, Mr. Rick Denzien, who
teaches guitar, songwriting,
singing, performance, and artist development, to teens and adults; Ms. Cindy LeBlanc,
teaching flute, clarinet, saxophone, to children through adult; and
Mr. Jim Holton, who teaches jazz piano, teens through adult.
Mr. Denzien is an award winning
songwriter, performer and recording artist, and has taught college
level classes in recording, production and engineering. He has
facilitated music industry panels and workshops in songwriting craft
and music business. He teaches songwriting, singing and
performance, working with teens and adults in the craft of lyric &
music composition and production for recording commercial music.
He offers an artist development program for students with an
interest in becoming recording artists, with training in
performance, guitar/keyboard, vocal, and songwriting studies.
Lessons can be conducted live, or through Skype.
Cindy LeBlanc has both performance
and music degrees from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in
Lafayette. She has taught privately and was a band director in
public and private school systems. A noted performer, she is a
soloist and member of various classical and jazz ensembles. She
has peformed with noted musicians at the Kimmel Center and West
Chester University Faculty Concerts, the United Nations, before two
US Presidents, and the Dalai Lama. She was chosen “Outstanding
Jazz Flutist” in the Jazz Philadelphia readers poll. Ms. LeBlanc
teaches both classical and jazz flute styles, as well as clarinet
an saxophone to students of all ages and levels.
Mr. Jim Holton teaches jazz piano to
pianists who have an interest in learning jazz style and technique.
He has a degree in jazz piano performance and music education from
Temple University, He mentors young jazz musicians and prepares them
for college level auditions and recitals. A known and accomplished
jazz pianist, he is also a composer, and arranger who has performed
extensively in the Philadelphia Area, New York, and New Jersey with
groups that have backed many well-known and renowned jazz musicians
and artists. Jim and his music have been featured many times on
Philadelphia’s WRTI-FM. Drawing on his extensive experience as a
performer and a teacher, he works with each student to provide a
personalized approach that makes learning rewarding and fun.
All students have the opportunity
to participate in music performance programs and recitals in the
community throughout the year. Students receive special rates on
recording, workshops and other programs available at Debra Lee
