Singer-Songwriter-Performing Artist
Debra Lee is a Philly area songwriter, performing both regionally
and nationally as a solo artist and as female lead in award winning
husband/wife duo Lyra Project. Her songs are irreverent and sacred,
politically and spiritually nuanced, covering the gamut of emotional
range, with vocals described as haunting, sweet, and powerful. She is a
professional singer, vocal coach and music teacher, and has numerous CD
credits as a background vocalist for other artists. She she is
active in the songwriting community serving as coordinator for the
Philadelphia Chapter of Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI)
since 2007.

The Philadelphia NSAI Chapter's goal to
be a vital part of the regional songwriting community, offering
NSAI
educational programs to increase knowledge of the music business and
enhance songwriting skills, and offer networking opportunities that
will support, encourage, build friendships and musical collaborations,
as well as provide performance opportunities for area songwriters.
Chapter meetings are held monthly,

Vocal Coach & Music Teacher
Teacher, pianist, singer, songwriter,
performing and recording artist, Debra Lee is a West Chester
University graduate, with advanced studies in Piano Pedagogy, and is
a certified Voiceworks™ Associate for the TOTAL SINGER method. She
teaches vocal techniques that enhance singing for all musical styles,
pop, jazz, rock, blues, country, R&B, musical theater, choral, and
classical. She is knowledgeable about basic vocal physiology and
health. She has taught and coached aspiring young singers, choral
singers, hobbyists and professional singers. She is effective in
teaching techniques for everything from pitch correction to optimal
vocal health, relaxation and performance techniques for both on stage
and in the recording studio. Ms. Lee’s students and vocal clients
have included children as young as 5 to award winning recording
artists.
